War On Drugs is the second full length album by INVDR. for this record we decided a slightly different approach. our first album was completely improvised and edited into songs in the studio. nick suggested that we spend a little more time writing the music and lyrics for the second album. basically we would let the drum sample go and briefly work out the music and do a few takes live in the room. often times the last take is what you hear, but sometimes we took the best parts of each take and constructed the songs in the studio. we wanted to retain the raw qualities of the first album, but put a little more effort into song writing. shit got weirder and darker, but somehow a little more smooth. this is the evolution of INVDR, enjoy!
